The Independent newspaper in London has a bad habit of deleting postings fast. Their notes on gardens in England and on unexpected shops in London, for example, are now unreachable. I tried to reach the web site Enjoyment.independent.co.uk/story.jsp?story=313545.for leisure in London, and my software could not find it. No matter: the site http://travel.independent.co.uk/europe/western/ gives a good wide collection of notes on other cities (and countryside) of western Europe.

If any reader?s software does download the Independent piece on London please would they very kindly send me it as an attachment to an e-mail, so that I can record it on disc and offer it later this year to suitable enquirers. As some readers know, I never know quite what to do with ?What should I go to see in London ??
