Best luxury hotel recommendations in Dublin, Ireland
Hello again! Te advice on this board is wonderful! I need to book one last hotel during our trip and I am looking for a luxury hotel or boutique hotel in Dublin, preferably in the St. Stephen's Green areas. I'm considering The Westbury, Four Seasons, Brooks Hotel, etc. Any suggestions, recommendations, or thoughts would be appreciated! Thank you!

Have stayed in the Westbury twice - and love the location - since you can walk to so much for there. St Stephen's in one direction , Trinity collee in the other, shopping, Dublin Castle etc.
It's a very tradition type hotel, rooms were a nice size and service excellent. That said - we had heavily discounted rooms both times. Can't comment on the value if you're paying rack rates - or on the others.

I'd definitely advise on The Merrion also! My husband and I stayed there a few years ago and it was absolutely wonderful - rooms, bar, restaurants, gym (with pool), lovely garden at back; and it's in the city centre a few minutes walk from Stephen's Green.

Brooks is smaller and cosier off Grafton street. I like it for the bar. Its my hideaway for a drink and chat with friends. The Westin is lovely and central on a busy street. The Westbury is lovely off Grafton street and the lobby gets busy for drinks and tea in the evenings...great location for shoppers. Four Seasons is like all others but not in the city centre and a taxi ride or bus to town. The Merrion is one of the Best and the spa gets good reviews from people. I am also going to suggest Brownes on St Stephens green (NOt to be mixed up with a B&B on Gardiner street opposite side of town!).
Brownes is a restaurant with a "boutique" hotel/rooms above in a georgian house on St Stephen Green. Check it out here at http://www.brownesdublin.com/rooms_and_suites_see.php
