Would appreciate knowing if there is good morning train service from Berlin to Vienna. Am planning to visit these two cities in May...Thanks for any information.

There are several options. One of the best and quickest (ICE train) departs Berlin Zoo at 7:41 AM and arrives in Vienna Sudbahnhof at 5:15 PM. There is one change on that train. No direct ones that I am aware of.

There's also a direct train that leaves at 9:47 and arrives at 19:36. The second-class fare is about 90 Euros.

Duh, somehow I looked right over that one, jaboulih. A much better option. In fact if Berlin Zoo is more convenient that train departs from there at 9:31 (before stopping at Ostbahnhof).
