Berlin restaurants
Four of us will be traveling to Berlin, arriving Friday, May 9th. We are staying at the Derag Livinghotel GroBer Kurfurst. I was looking for suggestions for a places for a good breakfast and mid to moderately priced dinners. We would prefer a spot where locals would go and enjoy traditional German food and beer. We would be willing to walk or take the metro for dinners. Thanks. It will be here before we know it.

Sorry, I missed both posts.
For traditional German fare, these are my recommendations:
- Nante-Eck, located Unter den Linden, very central, close to the Westin Grand Hotel. Great variety of traditional food, including fish dishes from the rivers around Berlin. Waiters/waitresses in historical costumes. www.nante-eck.de
- Nolle, located in the arch of the S-Bahn bridge very close to Friedrichstraße station. Inexpensive traditional food. http://www.restaurant-nolle.de/
- Mark Brandenburg. Located in the Hilten Hotel at Gendarmenmarkt. More upscale than the other two restaurants. Refined regional cuisine, using regional products. Moderately priced.
