Restaurants- Berlin

I know you will be fed of this by now, but one last little question please. Assuming I succeed in completing out reservations at Hotel Q which is in Knesebeckstrasse, just of Ku'damm, would anyone have a recommendation for dinner? I suspect we're not talking Michlein (well, not more than 1 star, anyway), but somewhere with really good food within walking distance

Diekmann, Meinekestraße, is close to Hotel Q. They have a very nice ambiance (furnitare taken from a 100-year-old grocery store), good food and affordable prices (clearly below Michelin-star-level).

If you want to go onto Michelin-star-level, the First Floor is in walking distance from Hotel Q.

Expect highest standards in food, drink and service. Ambiance is somewhat conservative.

I'm going back to Berlin real soon and planning to check out a well known organic little place to eat on Knesebeckstrasse called "Essen Fassen". You didn't happen to see it when you were staying in Hotel Q did you Sheila?

Traveller 1959: I've been searching for your post about the molecular food that you had in Berlin. Would you mind giving me the link or at least the name? Thanks.

Correction, I made a mistake essen fassen is on Goethestrasse. I got it mixed up with the neighborhood restaurant Sachs that's on Knesebeckstr.

I'm not aware of having seen it. But there wasn't a shortage of restaurants around

I'm going back to Berlin again! I remember reading about a restaurant that serves molecular food posted by Traveller1959. I believe it was 120 euro for a 20 mini course dinner. Anybody can remember/help me? Thanks.
