Berlin 3-Day Museum Pass?
Has anyone used this? Seems an too good to be tru, for 15 Euros, which is less than the price of two museums, you can enter all of them in the 3-day period?
Doesn't seem to include the Martin Gropius Bau but does include a Guggenheim? It's suppose to be for "state" museums (state as in the federal govt. or province?) but it includes a Guggenheim?

The Martin Gropius Bau hosts only temporary or special exhibitions which are almost always excluded with these kind of passes.
Besides that, 15 Euros is pretty good value for money. The list of museums is clearly dominated by the popular federal or state museums, but also includes the very impressive Jewish Museum, the Aliied Forces Museum, and the Airforce Museum.

I was looking at the Margin Gropius Bau web site.
Besides the exhibitions, do they have tours? They exhibitions they have don't sound worth paying for but I would be interested in viewing inside building.
Do you know if they allow you to take photos inside?

Isn't that a great deal? Don't miss the Gemäldegalerie (Picture Gallery), which has wonderful Vermeers http://tinyurl.com/33dno8.
But above all, see the fabulous bust of Nefertiti in the Egyptian Museum (Ägyptisches Museum) http://tinyurl.com/o6pt2

Browsing thru the Gropiusbau's website, it does not look as if they have tours of the building but just of the current exhibitions. But that information is not based on personal experience.
From my experience, Pergamon usually does not have any queues worth mentioning, but the Museum Pass seems to be only available online, or at the Berlin infostores (Tourist Information) at Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), Brandenburg Gate, a pavillon near Reichstag, and near Zoo train station in the Western city center.

The most popular exhibition "Metropolitan in Berlin", and you can expect long queues there (not covered by the Museum Pass anyway)

If I'm not mistaken, you can buy the 3-day pass at any of the museums included on the pass, right?
You don't have to go to off-site ticket offices?
Has anyone visited the Bauhas museum? That one is included as well in the pass.
