Ben Haines away

I leave tonight by Eurostar and sleeper for Berlin, and shall have three weeks or so in Berlin, Warsaw, the Baltic states, Torun, and Belgium. I have to amit that reading travel fora will not be my top priority, though I might find a cybercafe it it rains.

Ben Haines, London

And he has! in more ways than one!

Although his five posts from this trip have been topped, it might be worthwhile to assemble the URLs all in one place.

Perhaps the thread "Ben Haines quoted in Nat'l Geo Traveler!"

http://www.fodors.com/forums/pgMessages.jsp?fid=2&tid=1386339

would be a fitting place.

Ever his admirer...

Best wishes,

Rex
I had been on my travels a week when I landed in a very pleasant flat in Riga, with use of the net connection. I thought I might just look up what had happened to correspondences that I had written on, and there was this set of good wishes. Really, you people are remarkable. And I can say that your good wishes worked well: I had a very pleasant trip. Now what we have to see is whether I have the time and energy to write travel notes for the second week, Riga, Kaunas, Torun, Berlin (where I was yesterday).

Ben Haines, back home
Ben

Interesting to note your popularity! Welcome back. I'd love to share notes with you, I flew from England to Finland in March and made my way via St Petersburg, Tallinn, Vilnius, Riga and Krakow to Berlin, where I returned, somewhat exhausted. Most rewarding travelling of my life, however.
