Some years ago was introduced to dark lagers in a UK trip and then later in Ireland (Guinness but others too). Now if I have a beer it is likely a bottle of Samuel Smith's imperial stout, Belhaven Scottish ale, St. Botophs Town-pretty things, Big Bear black stout, Rogue Chocolate stout, Ballast point porter black, Clown Shoes hoppy feet, etc. As for light beers, no thanks.

Have you tried the local "British Beer Company"?, You can order an 'Arrogant B@stard', a 'Rogue Dead Guy' or multiple choices of Clown Shoes

I'm really sold on Boddingtons. I can get it here for about $12.00 a six pack. When you consider you get about 25% more beer per can, the difference to me is not enough to go thirsty. AND it is the only UK beer I can get here. S. Smith but it's over carbonated and I now can do without that.

It's also good to have the beer topic back on the board because I need to know what other brands are being shipped to the US.

If you buy Budweiser or other American brands in Europe look at the label. It's probably brewed in London, from rice.
