Bed and Breakfast in Kilkenny

I just spent hours on line requesting rooms in Kilkenny and i've already gotten 10 responses that nothing is available. I only need one night August 29 for 3 people.
Is there a town by Kilkenny that I might have better luck in? I will be driving from Dublin and we want to stop around that area before continuing on to Kinsale. Thanks for your help.

3 people can sometimes be tough depending on the B&B. I've stayed here -- http://homepage.eircom.net/~avilakilkenny/ -- and they have some decent sized rooms that might be workable if they have an opening. Breda is awesome & does a great breakfast. Even if she doesn't have a spot, she could probably offer some advice on where to try.

My favorite place was Alcantra, about three blocks from the castle in town. http://homepage.eircom.net/~alcantra/

The hostess Brigid was delightful, her rooms spotless, and the breakfast divine.

Thanks. We finally found one called Newlands. Thanks for your advice. I'll note your suggestion for our next trip.
