Bed and Breakfast in Bath

We are scheduled to stay at the Glen View Bed & Breakfast in Bath next month and wondering if anyone has any personal experience with it. Would also appreciate any other Bed & Breakfast recommendations in Bath or vicinity. There are 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 kids (17, 14, 7). At Glen View we have 2 bedrooms reserved at a total cost of 150 Pounds per night. We are looking for something nice, clean and tastefully decorated with period antiques. Any suggestions?

Check Rick Steves' book. He stays at the Brock's. Great location and resonable price.

I'm struggling to picture Mr. Steves in any place that's "nice, clean and tastefully decorated with period antiques"!

Hi Sterling,

Try the Brompton House. www.bromptonhouse.co.uk. We stayed there last month - great location, the triple was decent size with a big bathroom, nice breakfast. I think a triple was 90 GBP a night. It was lovely.

not sure if it will fit in your budget, but I love Villa Magdala. Convient to the city center - easy walk. Across from the Henrietta park, off street parking, etc.

they have a pretty nice web site too.
