Hi,
The drive from FCO to Orvieto was about 80 to 90 minutes. I imagine a lot would depend on traffic. Giulio picked us up that day, took us on a half day tour 2 days later and then the following day to Civitavecchia, the port of Rome to pick up a cruise all for 500 Euros. I think the ride from FCO to Orvieto was quoted at about 200E. Joanne

When we were in Orvieto a year ago my DW bought a few pieces of Biagioli at a shop also on Via del Duomo that she loved. The pottery itself is made in Gubbio in Umbria, and now we have the website for direct purchases - ceramichebiagioli.com - so we can add to our collection of giglio rosso.
We had a fabulous lunch at Ristorante dell'Ancora at Via di Piazza del Popolo - wonderful antipasti, pasta, wine, etc. A very serene setting (there was only one other party in the restaurant when we were there) on an otherwise busy and crowded day.
