Beaches in Spain

My trip is coming together. We are considering going to Greece after Sorrento/Naples.
We arrive to Barcelona end of June and want to spend beach time, I don't care much for Barcelona beaches, so I'm been looking at Ibiza and the islands.

Where do you advice going? I've read that Formentera is good. In our first trip to Spain we were in Donostia/San Sebastian that I loved, but I don't know if we would repeat before flying to London to come back to Denver. We want sand, sun and big surf, waves, love the ocean.

You won't find big surf and waves on Formentera, or anywhere else in the Med. For that you need to head to Portugal, or back up the Basque Coast.

Yes. Forget the ocean. The led is like a lake. Tides are about 10 inches for example.

Kite surf maybe. Go to sièges if you don't like Barcelona.

You can get some on the Med. coast, but they are not the best.

We don't surf, but we love to swim and boogie board. Love sunsets that in the Med are non existent as most cities face East.
We may just go to Sevilla or the Basque region from where we will fly to London. I need to get a good book.

Unless you go to far western or northern Spain, you won't be on the ocean. Big difference between the Med and the Atlantic.

If you do go to Seville, go to the Costa de la Luz. Just the kind of beaches you're looking for !

I went to the library and got a book of Andalucia and the beaches. I believe we are going to Sevilla and Andalucia area.

I only answered your quest for surf. Sorry to read that you really don,t want to surf.
Can I ask you to be clearer next time?
