Susan, try laterooms.com. We used them to book a room at the Cranleigh in Bath in Feb. 59 pounds for a room with two double beds and a sofa and ensuite bath, with a really terrific breakfast. Its a bit of a walk into town (20min) but there is a city bus that runs right in front. Bath is a lovely city, take the free mayors tours that leave from the north side of the Abbey.

We stayed at the Dorian House in Bath and loved it. We had a family room for 4 which is in the eaves of the house. For the four of us it was 105 GBP which included breakfast. It is about a 10 minute walk into the center of the city. It is up a hill from the city but the four of us did it each day. Breakfasts were the best we had while in Great Britain and I believe it is a 5 star B&B. Very nice place and the owner is the principal cellist with the London Symphony Orchestra. They do play lovely music in the breakfast room each morning. go to www.dorianhouse.co.uk to see more details. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.<BR>

We stayed at the Paradise House and were very happy there. No elevator, so we schlepped what we needed for the night up to our room and left luggage in the car. (6 week trip with two kids and two adults, so we had more than a couple of carryons!) Can't remember the exact price, but it was definitely one of the more reasonably priced places we stayed. The innkeepers (New Zealanders) were extremely friendly and helpful with directions, the breakfast was great, the fellow travellers were fun, and it's a fairly short walk into the center of town. We had a third floor room with a queen bed plus two twins. Highly recommended!!
