Barcelona-What's new?
Been to Barcelona many times, but have not been there in 10 years, what's new? I usually go to Sagrada Familia to see how it progressing but we might not go inside as it become insanely crowded.
So what is new?
Thanks.

You can take guided tours of Casa Amatller and Casa Lleo Morera in the "Block of Discord". I also found a Museum of Catalan Art Nouveau, not sure how new it is. I visited Sagrada Familia around 9:00 and didn't find it too crowded - I believe they now limit the number inside. Book your tickets ahead of time, ditto for any other Gaudi sites.

Yestravel, thanks so much for this stunning picture. We too have been in Barcelona maybe 6-7 years ago, and will have another day or so at the end of a cruise this September to track progress at Segrada Familia, get to Park Guell, and now this site! Also noted above the Catalan Art Museum, that should fill up all our time! Have done Pedera & Batyllo (sp?) on the last trip but couldnt get to the park.

We are staying at two places as we are traveling to and from France from Barcelona. We have not stayed at these places before, so I cannot offer a recommendation.
Piso de Artista Zona Modernista.
Gaudi Hotel
Have a wonderful time in Barcelona, it is one of my favorite cities and this trip will mean that I visited at least once very decade since the 1970's.
