Barcelona- trying to choose between these Habitat apts.

I'll join the chorus of those trying to find a fab Barcelona apt. We're looking for a three bedroom for the end of June (June 20-27). Which of these is a better location? We're all late 30s/early 40s, like eating out but don't want too much noise. Would also like easy access to Metro/train stations for day trips.

1. Born 2

2. Gracia 2

There's only one other one available, but it seems to be near the beach....a bit far from the center for us, I think. Would love feedback on these or other larger apts!

Born location is much better . I stayed in the same location just a week ago. One can walk to most attractions.
There are many restaurants, shops and cafes in Born.
Garcia apt. is bigger, but you will have to spend time traveling ( Metro is very good) .

Danon - Did you have any trouble with street noise while you were there?

No, but I was not in the same apt. you are considering.

If you are going in June, you will have to have the A/C on anyway( and keep the window closed)!
Gracia is porbably more quiet, but who knows. I am not familiar with that district.
Are there any other apt. you are considering??

p.s.
I have looked at their web page - it seems only 2 apt. 3 bed. are available for your dates and Born is not one of them.

I just checked...Born is still available for 4 people.

I haven't looked at other companies yet, as Habitat seems so highly recommended by the Fodors crowd. If you know of another company that has larger 3 bedroom apts., let me know. My group is 1 couple and 2 singles, none related - so having a lot of space is key!

I have not used them but one company is

You might also consider 2 apt in the same area. The cost would be a bit higher, but 4 adults in the hot summer weather just might be better off with more space.
