barcelona for 2 days or girona?
We have the typical 1 1/2 days in Barcelona before our cruise. We dont want to spend time in museums. Our friends want to go to Girona the first afternoon. Is it doable? How could we get there? Will we be missing too much in Barcelona?

Hi khepps,
I live in Girona, which is very near from Barcelona (1 hour by train).
Both Barcelona and Girona are worth visiting, but taking into account the duration of your trip I strongly recommend you to stay in Barcelona and visit the city, which is really nice!
In Barcelona you must visit the Ramblas, the harbour, some of Gaudi's works (specially Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera and Casa Batllo)and also the historic centre comprising Ciutat Vella and El Born.
You may try visiting this travel guide: voyagerguide.com/barcelona_eng/index.php
It may help you plan your stay in the city.
And if you have any other doubts, do not hesitate yo aske me!
Regards!
