Any suggestions on a moderate hotel in Barcelona before a cruise?

In 2007 we stayed at the Continental Palacete in Barcelona on Las Ramblas where the Eixample begins. Nice location, small charming rooms, good service, breakfast and 24 hour snack buffet with beer/wine included. Price was about 110 Euros per night.

What's your idea of a moderately priced hotel?
When is the cruise? The day of the week will matter at most hotels in Barcelona.

Try looking at www.hostalpalacios.com. Very close to Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Charming old furniture and on a beautiful street. The price is wonderful too.

I stayed at Hotel Jazz, a moderately priced, centrally located hotel. I really liked it there.

We were very pleased with the Hotel Atlantis just off Las Ramblas. Basic amenities, great location, clean and very comfortable with a nice breakfast. 107 E for a double last October

I second Continental Palacete. Stayed there in 2005 after a cruise.
