I'm not having any luck locating an apartment on the beach in Barcelona. Any suggestions? How far is this area from the town? Are there any other areas for apt's? Is Ramblas close to the beach? Also, does anyone know of a travel agency in Spain that would assist with touring Rome? Any suggestions for day trips? How about Montecarlo?

I've decided to stay in Barcelona at the Catalina Princess & in Rome The Rome Forte. Any comments on these two hotels. Would like to know if anyone has visited any islands near Barcelona, or have any suggestions for day trips.

Hello I stayed in april with a few friends in Barcelona and we stayed in the apartment Finca of www.cocoonbarcelona.com. As we were ten people, we only paid 25 € per night for this cosy apartment that is located in Barri Gotic. The apartment has a nice terrace and a rustical interieur. If you have a look on the website of www.cocoonbarcelona.com you will see thta they have some apartments in Barceloneta as well which is the city beach of Barcelona. I recommend to visit the museum MACBA and Cadaques in the north of Barcelona. For eating you have to go to Cerverceria catalana and C/Mallorca 236 and look out for the best tapas in town.
