If you like being away from the center and tourist attractions
it will do, but count on a daily trip to and from.
For only five days in the city and packed itinerary, I would look for something
closer to Placa Catalunya ( the very center of Barcelona.) or nearby.

No way. Not with your itinerary. Way too far from the center of Barcelona action.
Check the map, stay somewhere within the box created by the Diagonal, Verdeguer, Catalunya/Universitat and Passeig de Gracia metro stations. You can find places in the 500E range for that. The apartment you were looking at is no prize (sleeps 6 my foot - not at 475 square feet it doesn't).

Thanks for the tips Danon and BigRuss. We're just 2 people but I'm considering an apartment because they seem cheaper than hotels.
I found two other apartments, one in Barri Gotic and one in Eixample.
