On the bahn.DE, it wont let me book a train for the 14th dec, give me this message..
Your input is not inside the timetable period between 13.12.09 and 11.12.10.
How long do i have to wait until the timetable resets itself for a new year?? bit stupid really as its only 2 months away! Hope i dont have to wait until the 11th to book!

The new timetables will certainly be loaded by early November--and possibly sooner. Check the sites about once a week and book as soon as they appear.

Ive been checking every few days for the last 3 weeks.. Guess ill have to wait another month then! Just a pain because i don't want to book the hotel until im 100% sure of the train..

You have to wait until the new timetable is online. However, I do not see why booking your hotel is a problem. Train tickets cannot sell out.

I'm not sure how you can "not be sure of the train", unless they go on strike, the train will run.

We always make our hotel reservations before buying any train tickets. The train schedule is the schedule - just buy the tickets when they become available, or if there isn't a big price advantage, wait to buy until you arrive.
