Hi, I will be flying into Heathrow, and need to store luggage somewhere in london because I am flying out the same day but from another airport. Any suggestions?

Thank you

How far apart are your flights?

I seem to recall that either Victoria Station or Victoria Coach Statio or both have left luggage facilities. But you'll have to get up-to-date info.

Do you mean just to store the luggage for that day -- or do you mean to store it for longer while you travel to other places and then come back to London?

If it is just for that day, before anyone can give you useful info we'd need to know which other airport you are using, how you are getting there and how long you will be in London.

The mainline train stations (Victoria Kings Cross, etc) and the airports have left luggage facilities - but they would be pretty expensive if you want to leave things for several days/weeks.

Copied from baa.co.uk
Left luggage
Each terminal has a left luggage facility for storing baggage for a number of hours or days. Items are security checked. Left luggage offices also offer competitive unaccompanied baggage rates and services and sell luggage and travel accessories. Charges are £5.50 per item per day (or part thereof). The service is operated by the Excess Baggage Company, who can be contacted on +44 (0)20 8745 4599. Opening times are :

Terminal 1 (06:00 to 23:00)
Terminal 2 (05:30 to 22:30)
Terminal 3 (05:00 to 23:00)
Terminal 4 (05:30 to 23:00)

The luggage storage facilities at Heathrow and Gatwick airports and all of London's mainline train stations are operated by Excess Baggage (www.excess-baggage.co.uk). They charge £5.50 per bag per day.

There is a less expensive luggage storage facility at Victoria Coach station--the bus station near, but "behind" the Victoria rail station (http://www.tfl.gov.uk/vcs/facilities_luggage.shtml).

They charge by bag size and time...£2.50 for a large bag for 24 hours.
