Bagels in Barcelona or Gerona?
Hello again! We have been to Barcelona twice in 2 years (love all of Spain also), and have yet to find a Bagel Shop; does such a thing exist in Barcelona or Gerona? I inquire about Gerona because many Spaniards have told us it is both beautiful and a great place to live....
Thank You!

Oh come on, please stick to Barcelona and Gerona.
The reason I ask about Bagels in both these cities is because we are contemplating a move to one of them, and we currently own a couple of bagel stores.
The move to either Barcelona or Gerona is basically because we speak Spanish, and more-so want to be close to Winter Skiing (Catalunya Pyrenees and Andorra and France). We LOVE Skiing!!!!
We just want to know if they exist, and if they are any good?
In any event, can any LOCALS state whether it is a good business venture or flat-out crazy.
Gracias!

I hear that Girona has a quaint Jewish quarter in the medieval old town (thanks to Maribel, who is an authority in the Spain threads). Thus I bet there were many bagel shops in Girona before the expulsion in 1492 (or whenever). My advice: stick to Girona and renew that tradition ;-)
