Several years ago we did this using a London-based tour company named Evan Evans (or something close to that -- maybe it was Evens?). Sorry, I do not have an address or phone number available. But they are fairly well known. On the scheduled day we met them at some disignated place (a bus terminal, I think). The excursion was well run (no waits in line), and worth doing once. But, I would not really want to do it again. My wife made all of the arrangements from the states directly with EE; but a travel agent should be able to assist you, if needed.

You can also book directly with Buckingham Palace:

A booking fee applies to advance ticket purchases.

24-hour information: 44-171-799 2331
General inquiries: 44-171-839 1377
Credit card bookings: 44-171-321 2233

When I booked last year (for the fall), it was July 31st, the first day the ticket office opened, and the opening dates were announced (the opening of Buckingham Palace is at the Queen's discretion).

I faxed all the info they requested (the fax they sent me had "buckingham palace" for the fax #); I then got a call at work, which created quite a stir among the other employees. Rather entertaining...
