RE: transportation around Ireland, Scotland and England: having just returned from my most recent month-long UK trip, I found the least expensive mode of transport to be Ryanair (ryanair.com). <BR>As a caveat I would note that you will get what you pay for - practically nothing! It's cheap cheap but customer service is a joke to them. <BR>You'll have to take your chances and be resigned to being treated like cattle, but train travel will cost much more than Ryanair. I used it between Ireland and London Stansted, and also to Glasgow. There are several other low-cost airlines (Go, for example) that <BR>serve small airports throughout the UK and Europe.
