Ada-do a search for Dublin B&B and you will see some ideas...
We are booked at Griffith House B&B in Dromcondra this summer. They have been wonderful to communicate with. I am looking forward to our stay. I picked it because it has parking (you mentioned that), it is a 10 min. ride by bus into central Dublin and about the same to the airport by bus.
Here is their info.

Web page: http://indigo.ie/~griffhse
email: [email protected]
The host is: Eugene
Hope this helps.
Patti

You'll either love or hate Anglesea Town House. It's either Ballsbridge or Donnybrook I think - not the Georgian bit, but quite a nice area (SOUTH of the river). I loved it. There's on-street parking.

Of the others I have used, Raglan Lodge is nice. No 31 would be my third choice. Parking is more problematical.

We stayed in the Town House Hotel this past Sept. It was quite nice, centrally located, and had free parking. Parking was first-come basis - so try to get there early in the afternoon.

Here's a website with more info:
www.dirl.com/dublin/the-townhouse.htm

Ada:

Try the Mount Herbert Hotel in Ballsbridge. It's a small hotel - with parking off street- off Lansdowne Street and there is a DART Station at the top of the street that will take you to Trinity College - 1 stop or O'Connell Street -2 stops. It's also a 10 minute walk to St. Stephen's Green.
Breakfast is served. Delightul spot -- very convenient -- safe neighborhood.
The beauty of this hotel was the easy access to all the sights, shopping, restaurants of downtown Dublin. You're literally there in less than ten minutes and your car is off street in the hotel parking lot. We used the DART at night when we went to the theatre - and had no trouble at all returning to the hotel late at night.
www.mountherberthotel.ie -- I think I have that right. Maybe you can get their e-mail address on their web site. We made our reservations by e-mail and had no trouble at all.

We stayed at Mount Herbert on bus trip; nice place. Last year we had to stay 2 nights to book room, didn't have the time. Took chance on finding something even hostel. No luck, spent night in police station with another family!!!Was women's marathon in town the next day (40,000 women with families) No rooms.
