B&Bs Ireland what is the average cost?

What do B&Bs in Ireland charge, double room with ensuite plus Irish breakfast in June? Is there any site that lists them?

jim there are at least two great books published by the irish national tourist board (or at least distributed by them) that detail everything you want to know about B&B's...they are free for the asking,,,,they have an office on park avenue in NYC and an 800 telephone #.

i can speak for march of this year....on average we paid 25-35 E per person for top notch places, all had private baths....we booked ahead for our first nite and each day for 1E the owner called ahead to the place we had selected for the next nite....only once were they booked, but that was march....you would find it very different in june i think....

get the book and it will be easy for you....many have private e addresses which is convenient....

we arrived in shannon and stayed in kilrush the first nite at a 4 diamond place that was supurb....

You could easily pay 15 to 18 euro, or just as easily pay 80 euro or more per person double. B&Bs are a great bargains - but they are in all price ranges.

Determine your budget - then you'll find lots of places that fit into it.

Do you recall the name of the guest house in Kilrush?

Thanks,

Take a look at the Irish Tourist Board web site at www.ireland.travel.ie
You'll find listings there for B&Bs all over the country.
