B&B Suggestions in Rome and Florence

Hi All,
I am planning a "romantic" 10 day vacation in Italy with my boyfriend...5 days in Rome and 5 days in Florence. Any suggestions on a nice, quiet, romantic B&B in Rome and Florence? Also, where are the best areas to stay that is easily accessible to everything? I am looking to spend less than $200 a night.
Thanks
Tina

I can recommend Fellini B&B 55 via Rasella. www.fellinibnb.com It is in a very good location near the Trevi Fountain. Owners are very nice and helpful. Rooms are very pretty with high ceilings and beautiful mouldings, very modern bathrooms. A nice terrace area for your use. Good windows with nice views that shut out all the noise and light when you wish. They have remote contol blinds on them that are great. Easily within your price range. It gets good reviews on every site I checked. We were there 6 nights last March. Tel 39 0642742732 Fax 30 0649382675 Mobile 39 3471437059.

Hello, i could suggest you
the RElais BanchiVecchi in Rome and the Relais Cavalcanti in Florence.
Both are very central and this is where i will be staying in my forthcoming trip to Italy. They both look nice and romantic!

tinaerrico,

We stayed at Banchi Vecchi in Rome - if you search you'll see lots of comments. I think it will fufill all you needs - it's very attractive, nice, and quiet. I'd probably stay there again.

In Florence, look at Tourist House Ghiberti - www.touristhouseghiberti.com
It is a real gem - we loved this place!

If you do a search, there have been lots of threads lately on b&b's in Florence - I've looked at some that have been mentioned and it looks like there are several real gems!

Have a great trip!
Sally
