B and B near airport in Dublin

We have an early flight out of Dublin and would lke to stay near the airport. The big hotel chains at the airport are$120 a night, anything at that price or less.

I've recommended this place so often people are going to start thinking I'm getting kickbacks!

This past March, the night before my flight out, my daughter and I stayed at Willow House www.willowhousedublin.com
It's not right near the airport, actually between the airport and the city centre. If I recall correctly, I needed to be at the airport around 7:40 AM. The B&B owner arranged for a taxi to pick me up about 7:10 and I arrived in plenty of time.

You may be looking for something closer to the airport. But this worked well for us because we wanted to be able to go into the city centre but still be relatively close to the airport.

We were originally supposed to pay €40 pp but, because we had to leave too early for breakfast, she knocked off €5 pp.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express just outside of the Dublin Airport. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport. The hotel is fairly new and very nicely appointed. We paid 67 euros (about $97 US) for a room with 2 single beds. The rooms are air conditioned. They have a nice free breakfast buffet with lots of options. For any other meals, I think they had room service, or you can go to the restaurants at the Crowne Plaza hotel (literally right next door on the same property - they have the same ownership). We would definitely stay there again for an early departure or late arrival.

We stayed in Swords, just outside the airport. Lots of B&B's in town, though we had trouble finding a room in one. Stayed at the Holly Tree House - very nice.

I just booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express for 77 Euros last week. My flight out to London is at 6:40 AM... So the close proximity to the airport is a must! I will be there in less than two weeks!
