We will be in Venice in mid April and I want to check out some B & Bs, any suggestions for websites or recommendations?

My husband and I will be there on our honeymoon in late April/early May. We will be staying at the Residenza Goldoni in the Rialto area.

You might want to take a look at another thread "Budget Hotels in Venice."

For some reason, I cannot get a proper thread address...

venere.com is a popular site for Venice. Their hotel options (hotel, pensione, apartment etc.) are somewhat arbitrary IMO. Look at all of them, not just b & b.

I have recently booked the following based on postings on this site and reviews from tripadvisor:

www.gliangeli.net

I haven't been yet, so can't actually report on the stay, but I'm hopeful! It is not as close as some lodgings, but seemed reasonably priced and had very nice photos with great reviews.

Hi,

I too booked the gliangeli for early October of this year. The owner Sonia has been a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. I couldn't believe the deal of 105 Euros a night for 4 people.
