B&B in St. Andrews Scotland

Have been searching the web for B&B and located many in St. Andrews. Quite a few have openings. Any favorites or experiences would be very much appreciated. We are three traveling in June (2 golfers). Not sure if we will have a car or not as we are debating mode of transportation w/in Scotland. Thanks for your help. Sandy

Sorry, forgot to say small hotels would be okay too. We can't afford the big resort ones. Thx again. S

We spent one night at the "Sporting Laird" A B&B just two blocks from St. Andrews golf club. Large rooms, a golf bag storage room, and nice people.

Maggie, quite charming, and I think we will try for it. The Sporting Laird did not have availability on all nights for us. Hoping Aslar will. Anyone else with suggestions would be appreciated in case we cannot get in this one either. Thanks to all. Sandy

Maggie, if you see this, just want to say that Aslar is perfect. Our 18 yo son has an adjacent single to our double. Thanks.
