Avignon TGV Station
Have never been to the TGV station in Avignon, and will be picking up our car there next Tuesday. Based on where it seems to be located on the map I am assuming it will be easy to get out without getting lost in the city...? Heading to St. Remy.

Yes, the TGV station is outside the city walls of Avignon (so is the SNCF station) and easy to get on the road to St. Remy. I use www.mappy.fr or our Garmin for directions in France; there's also www.viamichelin.com.

Well, you're not going to have signs from the rental car parking lot to St-Rémy, so you should know in advance where you're going. As mentioned, the station is out there all by itself outside the city, but you will need a map to know which direction to head in. It's very easy and a relatively short drive to St-Rémy.

Just have a look at www.viamichelin.com and you will see how easy it all is.

I just did the TGV down to Avignon, picked up car and drove to Les Baux..same road you take to St. Remy. They will give you a map and directions to get away from station and onto the road to St. Remy. Not a problem.
Enjoy your trip...
