Austria/Czech/Slovakia/Hungary/Germany....Help- Thanks
Hello Fellow Travelers,
My friend and i are travelling to Europe for 14 days this Oct and i need your input on my itineraries. Please critics accordingly. I want to be as relax as possible at the same time going in a normal pace without missing anything or too hectic.
Which plan do you think is better? Plan A or Plan B.
Plan A.
Day 1: Arrive in Budapest from US
Day 2: Budapest
Day 3: Budapest
Day 4: Train to Vienna
Day 5: Vienna
Day 6: Vienna
Day 7: Bus to Bratislava
Day 8: Bratislava
Day 9: Train To Prague
Day 10: Prague
Day 11: Prague
Day 12: Prague
Day 13: Flight back to US
OR Plan B
Day 1: Arrive in Munich from US
Day 2: Munich for Oktoberfest only
Day 3: Train to Prague
Day 4: Prague
Day 5: Prague
Day 6: Train to Bratislava (in the morning)
Day 7: Bus to Vienna (in the evening and it takes only 1 hour)
Day 8: Vienna
Day 9: Vienna
Day 10: Train to Budapest
Day 11: Budapest
Day 12: Budapest
Day 13: Flight back to US
Thank you so much guys for your input in advance, any comments will be appreciated.

I'd say plan A but forget Bratislava and add a day each to Budapest and Vienna.
Both itineraries are too rushed for my liking. Bratislava is only worth a day trip in my opinion, so if you are desperate to see it then take a train from Vienna for a day but don't stay there.

@mjdh1957, thanks for your advice. you are right, i think we are removing the trip to Bratislava and make it into a day trip from Vienna.
This is the revised itineraries. To be honest, I still think that going to Munich fro Oktoberfest is too rushed. My friend would like to go but i am afraid we are taking away time from Vienna or Budapest
Day 1: Arrive in Munich from US
Day 2: Munich for Oktoberfest, Leave Munich at night to Prague
Day 3: Prague
Day 4: Prague
Day 5: Prague
Day 6: Train to Vienna
Day 7: Vienna
Day 8: Vienna (a day trip to Bratislava)
Day 9: Vienna
Day 10: Train to Budapest
Day 11: Budapest
Day 12: Budapest
Day 13: Flight back to US
How about now? Should i just remove Munich completely?
Anyone? Thanks!

I certainly didn't go to college with a bunch of Germans and tourists
As much as I love Munich and would actually like to go to Oktoberfest, I wouldn't include it this time around, mostly because I think you will have trouble finding accomodation - Oktoberfest is only a few months away and things really book up. And then any lodging that you DO find will be seriously expensive.

Even your revised itinerary is more ambitious that I would like - but it's hard to comment because you haven't said what kinds of things you want to see, do, or experience - and that's the key to timing! Do remember that you are likely to lose some time at the beginning of your trip to jet lag.
