Auction house in Paris?
I know I read a thread on here some time ago about a fabulous auction house in Paris, but I cannot find it in my notes or by using the search feature here.
As I recall, there are any number of rooms through which one can potter; some containing real treasures, and others junk. We love doing that, and will be in Paris in October. Seems a lovely thing to do on a rainy day.
Can any one help?

You might like to while away some time at Le Louvre des Antiquaires located at Rue de Rivoli/Palais Royal. Not an auction house, rather a housing of a great many antique and art dealers.

Thank you all. It must be Drouot. Perhaps we might even bid on some of the junk. We love auctions, and my DW knows the rules, i.e., "Just hold up your card, keep it up, and soon the item is yours".
Between the auction house and the Antiquaires shops we should keep entertained.
I think we will not be going to Cristies, however, Kerouac. We could get into real trouble, there.
