ATM PINs

Is there still a limit of four digit PINs at the ATMs in Europe?

Does it vary from country to country?

Thanks!

In fact varies from ATM network to ATM network (from bank to bank.)

So that means there are some bank networks in some countries that accept ATM cards with more than 4 digits?

Can anyone give some examples from their overseas experiences?

thx

I just spent 10 days in London and Paris and used my ATM card to withdraw cash in both cities. I have a 4 digit PIN number. Everything worked perfectly. There were ATMs everywhere in both cities. I recommend using the ATMs and forget travelers checks.
