Atlantis Villas, Oia, Santorini...any first-hand experience?

Has anyone stayed at the Atlantis Villas? Were the rooms comfortable? Was the view as great as the brochure makes it sound? How was the service? Thanks in advance for all of your help.

We didn't stay at Atlantis Villas when we visited Oia for about 10 days, so I can't vouch for them per se. I can say, however, that Oia is a very small village and the views from just about every place we saw were fantastic. All of the villas in Oia are perched on the cliffs and have the best sunset views on the island. If you want to know more, feel free to email me directly.

my husband and I went to Santorini the end of Nov. into the first week of December. We stayed in VIP suites in OIA and it was absolutely gorgeous. The view was spectacular. It was off season and the rates were very affordable. We ate right down from our suite at a place called "Flora's". The Atlantis Villas were in Fira, (if i remember correctly) and it was near a restaurant called "Classico" that we frequented EVERYDAY for a nescafe!!! The view there is worth the trip! Hope this helps!

Mikki
I didn't stay at the Atlantis villas, but got stuck on the plane trip back (delayed a day) with a couple who had stayed there. They claimed they were great -they are in Oia. They said they had a full suite, with kitchen area, living space and bedroom. With a pool and a great view. They said most people book next years trip before they leave - it's so great. Hope this helps.
Martha

Mikki and Ron,
I will be going to Santorini late Sept./early October and have booked the Atlantis Villas in Oia.
The Oct. rates are definitely cheaper.
We ended up splurging and booking a junior suite(it's our 10year anniversary) and the cost in Oct. is $188.00. Their regular rooms which look great also, are cheaper than this, but I don't know how much. They have single rooms, apartments, superior apartments and suites, with the suites being the most expensive.

The pictures in the brochure look beautiful.
Also check out their website:
[email protected]
They will send you all info on the rates and room types.

Hope this helps,
Lynn

We stayed in Atlantis Villas in late April for 4 nights. It was the best hotel we saw after searching the whole village of Oia. We highly recommend it- the service was excellent, pple were friendly and the food was fantastic. It was low season then, so we had the hotel to ourselves with one other family and the studio we stayed in was charged at a standard room rate of Euro 190!

NO, it's located in Fira which is very busy and not quite, but all the disco's are there. I like the village of Oia which is more quite and full of artists and small places to stay. Oia Mare Villas is wonderful and located on the sunset cliffside of the island. They have a website and a pool. Food, Ambrosia, Oia cafe are owned by my friends Tony and Panos. 1800 is fine dining and never wear shorts at night because you can't get into any disco's.
Stay away from a Jewelry store named ORO because they sell fake greek coins and have bad quality stones. The owners name is Alex and don't trust him.
