There was an article theorizing that Ireland was Atlantis on www.msnbc.com just a few weeks ago.

I saw this article, or something similar, the other day and if I remember rightly the alleged ruins were said to be 1500 metres under the sea. My first thought was that somebody had added a zero - surely the Mediterranean didn't rise that much?

Interesting. And odd that it came up when I did an idle search for "Santorini." Maybe if I put the word Cyprus in this post, someone searching for Cyprus will unearth this post.
