I guess this contradicts the Santorini theory.

There was an article theorizing that Ireland was Atlantis on www.msnbc.com just a few weeks ago.

I saw this article, or something similar, the other day and if I remember rightly the alleged ruins were said to be 1500 metres under the sea. My first thought was that somebody had added a zero - surely the Mediterranean didn't rise that much?
