Athens or Istanbul in Nov'15 Solo female traveller

I havent been to Athens, but as a solo traveler I enjoyed Istanbul a lot.
You could spend 4 days in istanbul and 1-2 in cappadocia or ephesus.

I have only been to Istanbul 1x, but I have been to athens six times in the past few years (was just there last week 
. Love athens immensely, have always felt safe, amazing food, wonderful people--but If you are going to spend six nights in either city-head to Istanbul. Big city, lots to see and do. Obviously lots to see in Athens, great museums. If I had to pick one of those cities to go to for 6 nights in november, it would be Istanbul-just a different experience.
