Aschaffenburg Anyone?

We have stayed in Aschaffenburg twice at the Hotel Cafe Fischer. It was Christmas market season and we enjoyed it quite a bit. It was touristy enough but also a place where people lived a worked.

Thanks for the photos of Aschaffenburg. They bring back memories. There is a very nice traditional restaurant in the cellar of the Schloss (Castle) Johannisburg overlooking the Main River.
For those recommending Frankfurt a/M I'm surprised that nobody mentioned Sachsenhausen, the pub district on the south side of the Main River.
