Art Nouveau
HI, I'm a big fan of Art Nouveau anything...jewelry, artwork, architecture, etc. If anyone else is a fan out there, I was wondering where your favorite examples of Art Nouveau architecture are, in Europe.
For example, I love the metro entrances designed by Hector Guimard, in Paris.

in Lille, Nancy, and, in Paris you can see many of Hector Guimard's metro stops and buildings. Majorelle's furniture can be seen at Lucas-Carton
and Maxim's has Art Nouveau. There's a wonderful old book I bought years ago that you could try to find on Amazon. It's called Paris 1900. I went to Nantes one year to see the beautiful brasserie, "La Cigale" for it's beautiful Art Nouveau tiles.

I agree with Queenie, but think Riga particularly has the most beautiful art nouveau buildings I have ever seen. Prague is second. The big issue is to make sure you always check the upper stories as you are walking-while making sure you don't trip over uneven sidewalks.
