It appears that Armand is no longer. DH and I just returned from Paris and the restaurant is now called Casaluna. Interestingly, the phone number is the same, and superimposed on the C in Casaluna is an A. Maybe the same owner who decided to change the name? I don't know, but I wanted to pass the info along.

We had a reservation for our last night, however, we decided that we did not want to go and cancelled. We did look at the menu which looked quite nice, it was a matter of not being that hungry.

We ate there because we had arranged to have dinner with friends there, and it was too late to change the reservation. They are Parisians and know their food. They consider it one of the best and authentic Corsican restaurants they have encountered in Paris.

How is Corsican food different from French food. I suspect it is from Corsica? I am going to Paris in November would you still suggest this restaurant LoriNY?

"French food" is such a general category that it would be difficult to classify. It ranges from choucroute alsacienne to bouillabaisse. Corsican food will fit within that range, orienting itself toward Mediteranean and Italian type cooking.
