Are there multi-day London Museum passes?
My family of five will be in London for four days next summer, and would like to visit as many sights as possible. Can we buy a three or four-day pass that will admit us to a number of major museums/sights/galleries? There's such a pass in Paris that's great....it gets you into almost every major attraction in the city over three days for $30(US)or so. You can buy it at participating museums/galleries or from the Metro ticket booth. Is there anything like this in London?

Thanks!

Scott
I'm not sure if this is what you want, but if you go to the indicated website
maybe it will be clarified
British Heritage Pass
You can find the list of included sites at
http://www.information-britain.co.uk/
pass/pass.htm
If you have children the Heritage Pass may not be the cheapest way to go since it does not provide student discounts while per-visit tickets do. If you are traveling during the week and during the British school year, most tickets lines will be short (except for Windsor Castle) and children get the student discount so it may not be worth getting the Heritage pass

Our family of five bought a London White Card (or 5 London White Cards). It got us into the London Museum, the Museum of the Moving Image, the Science Museum, the Royal Observatory, the Imperial War Museum, the London Transport museum, and a couple others. It was definitely a good deal, though if you only have 4 days you may not make it to that many museums, and the white card does not get you into the Tower or some of the other major sites. With a family of five, I would NOT recommend investing in a London for Less card, because the family discounts that are offered at almost all the major tourist sites in London are a better deal than the LFL card discount. Hava a good time. Oh, you can buy a White Card at any of the sites that accept it.

The London White Card is now called the GoSee Card. It can be purchased at any of the participating 17 museums for 32 pounds or about $52.00 for a family pass that is good for two adults and 4 children for three days. For one adult, the single admission price to all 17 museums is about $160.00 so it is quite a good deal. See the details at http://www.london-gosee.com/

The Go-See Family card is a great deal - but remember that children under 16 get into virtually all the attractions covered by the Go-See card for free anyway; that these attractions are free after 4:30 for everyone, (Monday 10-2 for the Courtauld Institute); that great museums like the British Museum, the National Gallery, the Wallace Collection and Sir John Soane's Museum (for example) are free ALL the time. Our family is going for a week, and we don't intend to buy any admissions - we are going to take advantage of the free times. Mind you, we are going off-season when these attractions won't be crowded - for the summer I would consider the White Card if I really wanted to spend more than a couple of hours each in the V&A, the Science or the Natural History Museums.
