Judyrem, surprise pretty well covers it! I was 21 with my son and will be 42 when my daughter is born. We (at least I) am over the shock and am now looking forward to second time parenthood.

AngelUK, thank you for your good wishes. We started thinking about a 2nd when Patrick was 5 but I thought that was too big a gap! Oh well, no fighting over toys.

I'm Greek and I live in Athens. I'm definitely not the only Greek here. I've spent two years of my life in New Orleans studying at Tulane. I've used extensively this forum for my travel plans and I hope that so far I've provided forumers w\ valid information about Greece.

Adding to the boredom:

A Briton in London.

More tedious posts to follow, I'm sure.

I was British last time I looked. A Londoner born and bred, albeit one with occasional wanderlust.

American, living in northern England. Also lived in Belgium for a while.

One more thing....people keep saying "I'm from so and so and live in xyz....do I count?"

You, we, ALL count! The diversity of people who post on Fodors is one of the reasons this website is so interesting and informative. So don't sell yourself short!

I'm french, living in Paris, though I seldom post and visit the board, currently (for positive reasons, which will also allow me to travel again instead of reading travel boards as a derivative...and also because people are so aknowledgeable on this board that I rarely have anything valuable to add, even about my own country. And concerning other countries, my infos aren't up to date hence wouldn't be of much use).

clairobscur, surely you must have a favorite Parisian restaurant you would like to share with us -- great food, reasonable cost, away from the tourist traps??
