Are Bus tours worth it.

Hi Mainhattengirl, my original itinerary did include Frankfurt but in past posts people have said to disregard the city as it is largely business oriented. Is frankfurt worth seeing, or would Munich be a better choice?

Frankfurt is a very historic city. If you like museums, are interested in Jewish history, the Holy Roman Empire, medieval churches, Farmers Markets, Botanical Gardens, or festivals, you will have a good time in this city. Yes, we have a lot of banks, but we have lots of other things to interest folks.

frankfurt is OK - but I think Munich has a lot more to see/do -at least that interests me.

Here's what, IMO, makes them not so "worth it": when "that person or persons" cannot seem to get themselves onto the bus on time and you wait, and wait, and wait...
