Apt in Barcelona

What do you think of our choice? It is Sant Pau 1, 5 minutes from the Cathedral Sagrada. Pros and cons of the area would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ron

the apt. seems o.k. , and inexpensive
the location is not in the very center, you will have to use metro to to all attractions (except Sagrada).
There are many rental agencies in Barcelona, but you know your budget

Not my knowledge. The train stations (3) are in the city. There seems to be a bus. You better check the bus company Alsa

We stayed in Barceloneta in a very comfortable apt we rented thru O'Barcelona. It was quite a walk to the sites but all along the harbor. We were also close to the beach - a real treat.

Pvron - I'm thinking about booking with apartmentsbcn.net. How has your experience been with them thus far?

Also, it doesn't seem that you can take the train directly from BCN airport to Tarragona. You'll have to take the train from the airport to one of the three stations in Barcelona (Sants, Passeig de Gracia, Estacio de Franca) then transfer to the train to Tarragona. Go to the Renfe webite for timetables and prices:
