apartment in Paris

Hello,

Before people ask me, I am still going to Rome. This apartment in Paris is for a surprise trip that I want to plan for my husband for our 3rd anniversary.

http://mylittlehomeinparis.com/MLHIP...m/Welcome.html

This apartment has good reviews on both vrbo and slowtrav and looks like it's in a good area.

I am planning for us to be in Paris from 30th June-7th July.

Would really appreciate feedback on this apartment.

Thanks for all the help!

I haven't stayed in this apartment, but looked at the description. Personally, I wouldn't want to sleep for an entire week on a sofabed.

Dear Sunlight

I haven't stayed there, but I will say that it looks nice. My only objection would be the sofa bed. Well, no AC or washer/dryer, but at that rate those might not be easy to find.

The price is right, and if the exchange rate hold, it is about 106/107 USD as of today. That is a decent deal.

I have no experience with this company but that looks like a great apt. for the price and location. I stayed in the Marais last time but I really would have jumped at the chance to stay in this area for the price!

Thanks a lot for your replies.

I too were a little skeptical about the sofabed, however have been reassured by the owners that it is an extremely comfortable sofabed and very easily folded back.

Also none of the reviews mention the sofabed as a problem. As for the lack of AC, I wrote to the landlord about that (thank you tuscanlifeedit)and he says that there is very good ventilation within the apartment and a small fan as well. Hopefully that would suffice. Anyways we are in London right now, and our apartment here doesn't have AC.

The dryer is not really an issue with us.

I am happy to know that it is a great location. I think I will go for it.

I rented this apartment last September. It is an adorable and well appointed little place on a quiet pedestrian street. The sofa bed is very comfortable. It is well located with lots of cafés and food stores nearby. I will rent it again on my next stay in Paris.

Hello,

Travginny your response is even more reassuring. The owners are very quick to response and a pleasure to deal with.

I am keeping my fingers crossed, and hoping that I would be able to somehow make my husband take days off without actually telling him that we are going to Paris.

sf7307 I will definitely let you know how it goes.

This forum is absolutely amazing. Thanks once again.
