Well, "Joetown" is pretty small--we may know each other. My husband and I live off Ashland on Oakland. Let me know if you want to share more info. I grew up here; we moved back two years ago from NH. Husband (a Brit) gets back from three weeks in France and UK on Thursday then we go back for two months on July 30. Regards.

cathinjoetown - did you stay in Rue Saint Honore, or St. Andres?

I will be staying on the Rue St. Andre des Arts in an apartment booked through vacationinparis.com.
It's ID #122 on their web site. I've had good feedback about it on this site but have not stayed there before.

The vacation in paris people were very helpful both before we left, and when we arrived. They have expanded their options considerably since we went in '06. I particularly liked having the key in hand when we got on the plane over. It eliminated problems with flight delays, just got off the plane, shuttled to the apartment and walked right in.
