Anyone Interested In A GTG In Italy Oct 13th-24th?
Hello Everybody,
After reading about all the Fodorites leaving for Italy in the next couple of days and their plans for GTG's, I thought I would start a thread for when I will be in Italy(just 29 days, not that I am counting!!)Plus I saw that travelphile was asking the same thing and is just 2 days behind me.
Here is my itinerary:
Venice - Oct 13th-15th
Florence - Oct 15th-20th
Rome - Oct 20th-25th
This is my first trip to Italy and think it would be cool to meet up with fellow travelers!!

Our schedules are pretty close...
My wife and I will be in staying near Moltepulciano from Oct 15-22, with a short visit to Florence on Oct 16 (to pick up friends) and in Rome from Oct 22-24.
We've been to Italy many times and enjoy meeting fellow travelers.

TRSW - replying to you hear since my itin doesn't fit with DesertDave... Traveling alone or with a group? 4 of us traveling - for one person their first trip to Europe!
How about dinner on the 19th in Florence? I belive Il Latini is the place people rave about with communal tables and not really a menu - just whatever they are serving that night!
I don't have time to research it today, but perhaps someone will read this and tell me if I'm right about the restaurant and if they take reservations.

There is already something in the works for the 23rd. Dinner with some other Fodorites. Are you interested in joining us?
If not, I am up for something on the 24th (my last night in Italy..BooHoo)

We're thinking of doing a walking tour that evening, you're invited to join us, but you'll have it down after 4 days there! Are you up for dinner at say 9? That seems late to me, but I'm trying to get into Italian mode! Again, drop me a note and happy planning, less than 2 weeks for you! Kristy
