Anyone in Valencia for Fallas?
if so.. letīs meet up march 15th inside the hotel melia plaza, right on the main plaza del ayuntamiento, at 1.30 to wait for the mascletá noise concert to begin.
see you there, unless it is raining, then i will not go into town for this.
www.fallas.com for those who donīt know what i am talking about!
i think you can listen to the mascletá on internet at that website everyday at 2 pm valencia time. it only lasts about 5 minutes, so be prompt.
it will sound like a war zone.. but is ejoyed by many.

I've seen it often on the Spanish television but for some technical reason, I can't find the spectacle.
I surely would like to meet you at Valencia but ms blackduff will not allow me to go alone.
Jeeez, I'll have to keep a good reason to head south.

where exactly are you, blackduff?
would be fun to come down with a small group.
but you almost need a local to show you around to be able to see the most in a day.
hotels outside the city until the 17th are probably reasonable.

Hi lincasanova
I live in France just across the border with Spain. I can look out my living room and see the Spanish border on mountain Neulos.
Unfortunately, I cannot visit Valencia this year. Hopefully in the near future.

lincasanova ... I will be escorting a group of 34 students aged 15 - 18 to Paris, Avignon, Carcassonne, Barcelona and Valencia in March 2008. We will be in Valencia for the final two nights of the festival. I have been reading with interest your comments on this board for about one year and would like the chance to ask you some questions about the Valencia area. My home email address is" [email protected] ". I would welcome the chance to chat with you about our plans.
