I just got an email from
Harriet Welty Rochefort
author "French Toast" and "French Fried"
She does wine and cheese pairings, she could do a group on March 22nd, anyone interested in doing this?

pdx, tedgate and others who leave before the 22md. I would like to meet, but I might have trouble setting a date until I arrive though lunch might work (..I am not being coy..just friend, family and weekend plans that are up in the air). Any interest?

TO PDX:
St. E is just outside the northern exit to Les Halles Station at intersection of Rue Turbigo and Rue Monmartre. You'll be near both the Les Halles area and Montorgueil market, which are replete with restraunts, cafes, etc.

apersuader - I love your name. my first thought was you're part of a super-hero group who persuades people to go to Europe. you're my kind of hero.
And hot dang, you know your Paris. since you went that far, would you suggest some restaurant/bar that might be considered?

travelbunny -
"..I am not being coy"
ha! a little tremor of FoFR (Fear of Fodorite Response)?
totally understandable, but try to influence the decision with your friends and family to meet at an earlier date, okay? you need your last couple days wrapping it up in Paris, anyway. i'm looking forward to this, i hope it works out.

I'm going to revive the idea of a Fodor Get Together at Le Derniere Goutte, a wine store in the 6th, on Saturday, March 24, or Saturday, March 31, for wine tasting and maybe dinner later. Anyone interested?

Well it looks like pdx and the TN Trio of Terror will be meeting in front of St. Eustache in Paris on March 18th around 5:15 pm if anyone would care to join us. You'll know us by the big red "F" for Fodor on our chests!
